  • Hydrogen Powered Phones In 2010

The Cell Phone manufacturers Motorola collaborates with Fuel cell manufacturer Angstrom Power to create a first ever mobile phone that works on hydrogen fuel cells. The hydrogen fuel cells are basically used as a power backup source that will make easy electricity supply to charge the devices.

According to the Atomic Energy Commission (CEW) researchers, hydrogen filled cartridge has been used by small sized fuel cells. Hydrogen molecules are being produced with the cracking of water molecules with available desktop fueling station, and then stored it into a metal hydride container. As hydrogen molecules will go through the fuel cell membrane, electrons will start moving away and get deflecting to power the phone.

One major advantage of hydrogen powered phone is one need not to go to store to get the fuel collection and can obtain from valves. It is also called a water powered phones. It becomes better choice of the customers as water is for sure made easily available everywhere.  The new hydrogen powered phone would come in portable design that is as thin and light as always.

The device will get commercially be ready and fully made available in 2010 but the price of the new technology is yet not revealed.
