Canon has announced the new PowerShot A495 & A490 digital cameras. The PowerShot A495 & A490 are easy to use and offer graceful shooting with face detection and many more automatic features. This model is incorporated with Smart Mode Technology with guaranteed Zero percent effort.

New Canon is integrated with Scene Detection technology, which repeatedly recognizes shooting condition and take perfect shot by arranging the optimum picture settings. Capacity of automatic detection of 18 and 13 diverse shooting scenes of PowerShot A495 and A490 will give you the best results in sunny day and in night as well. SmartAuto automatically make all settings with no use of manual effort. This device is enriched with Face Self – timer Feature and Face Detection Technology makes an easy recognition of multiple faces and catch perfect group shots. After the shot has been taken, the Red Eye Correction can also be detected and removed from images.

Capturing Videos at VGA resolution with sound is an additional interesting feature available in both PowerShot A495 & A490. Both A495 & A490 are well-suited with SDHC and SDXC memory cards and powered by AA batteries for enormous battery backup. 2TB storage capacity of SDXC will allow users to capture thousands of images on a card. SmartAuto makes photography easier than ever.

The Power Shot is available from February 2010 in the range of colors including silver, red and blue at reasonable prices.
